Frequenly Asked Questions
Q: Where is the food prepared?
The food is prepared in your kitchen, per Maricopa County Health Department regulations. By preparing meals in the place that you would prepare meals for your family, you can be confident that the meals are of the highest quality.
Q: What if my kitchen does not have everything you need?
That will not be a problem. During our consultation, I will see what type of equipment you have, and I will supplement the rest.
Q: Are you certified by the health department?
Yes, I have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card, and I am ServSafe certified.
Q: Will I have much of a menu selection?
Due to the fact that your meal plan is customized, the possibilities are almost endless.
Q: What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Dietary restrictions or food allergies will not pose a problem. I have experience with meal planning for those with restrictions like diabetes, kidney failure, gluten-free, vegetarians, or those who are required to eat heart healthy. I am also very sensitive to those with food allergies, as I have some of my own.
Q: How often will you be cooking for us?
The program is completely customized for your needs, so you will receive my services as often as needed.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
Both cash and check are accepted for customized dinners. For planned events, a 50% deposit will be required to secure the day and time, and the remaining balance will be due on the day of the event.
Q: What if I am not satisfied with my meal?
If you or any other diner does not enjoy their meal, a complimentary meal will be given. I want to make sure that everyone is completely satisfied with each meal.
Q: What is the first step to using a private chef?
The first step is to submit a message on my contact page. Please provide me with a contact number and the best time to reach you, and we will set up a consultation appointment to start customizing your meals. I look forward to hearing from you.
